    Mineralogy: Basalt, 1803 (date at base) flat uncoloured engraving, 21x16.5cm, of a volcano, showing lava flow and columnar basalt. A copy of Demarest’s classic image of 1774 for an unknown English encyclopedia. Slight foxing into top of image area, otherwise in good condition.

Nine sections and sketch views arranged around a view of Der Langkofel im Godner-Thal in Tyrol. 1. Section of Seifser Alp between Valsa Valley and Eysack Valley; 2. East side of Campagnazo Pass; 3. Section of Campedello against Molignon; 4. Section on the route in the Grodner valley to Cofosco; 5. View above Colvasco; 6. Section from Ciaplaya to Sotto i Salsi; 7. View of the Inn valley by Schwaz; 8. Profile of Feigensteins in Tyrol; and 9. Section of the mountains through M.della Celva between Trento and Pergine. In good condition.

    Trachyt Steinbruch am Stenselberge im Siebengebirge Trachite Quarry at Stenselberg in the Siebengebirge. c.1828. 62cm x 49cm (24.5"x19.5") Uncoloured lithograph on flat cartridge paper with minor tears and loss on all margins repaired neatly, minor water marks from spillage, a crease in left margin and slight dustiness. A view of a quarry face exhibiting cylindrical jointing and quarrymen entering an apparent adit. In fair to good condition.

    Die Kasegrotte bei Berlrichthe Cheesecave at Berlrich. c.1828. 62cm x 49cm (24.5"x19.5") Uncoloured lithograph on flat cartridge paper with minor tears and small loss on left margin, very slight foxing and slight dustiness. A view of a ravine with columnar basalts forming the valley side, rapids and a high foot bridge with three well-dressed figures and a dog in the foreground admiring the view. In fair to good condition.

Two views, one showing a cliff of columnar basalt with a small chapel and view of a shallow cave or quarried niche which may be to the left of the chapel in the top view. In good condition.

Two adjoining panoramic views to east and south of Rigi Berg including parts of Lakes Tannerzee, Vier Wald and Lucerne. Coloured geological to distinguish Urgebirge, old and young Alpenkalk, Jurakalk and Molasse. In good to very good condition

Two engraved views, each 18x25cm, showing (a) closely and irregularly spaced timber oil derricks and (b) the railway 'station' with stacks of barrels, pond of oil, and a wood burning locomotive in the foreground. In very good condition.
