Sheet 3 From the Limestone Plain between Abbeyleix and Maryborough over Cullenagh Hill and thence south eastwards across the Castlecomer Coal-field to the Valley of the Barrow River south of Old Leighlin and into the Granite Country east of Bagenalstown, 1860. A continuous section in six parts covering parts of one-inch geological maps 127, 128, 137 and 147. Hand-coloured engraving, flat, 69 x 101.5cm, with marginal tears and limited loss on right margin and lower right corner. Linen taped edge, detached in places. Soiled with tidemarks of old spills along the top edge and left margin. In fair condition.
