Sheet 21, Old Series 1". 1866. Devon: Crediton in SW, Taunton, Dorset Axminster in SE. Topography dates from original in 1809, otherwise, dates omitted, typical of 1st editions in West Country, issued 1866. Hand-coloured engraving, 61.5 x 91.5cm, cut, mounted and folded between remnant marbled card covers to 19 x 11cm. Trimmed to map edge but legend and dates pasted on back. Clean but faded. In very good condition, but rated as fair to good due to trimming.
