Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1st edition,  viii + 212 pp. Hardback presentation copy, original green embossed leather with gilt decoration on spine and cover and gilt lettering on a brown leather spine label. Negligible shelf wear, spine faded, leather beginning to split on hinges but binding still sound. Marbled end papers with award book plate and owner label and marbled page edges. Slight foxing to end papers, but text itself is clean and unmarked. In very good condition.
