London: John Van Voorst. 240 pp. 1st edition. HB, in embossed blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine. Fold-out hand-coloured map with Sections at 1:636,300 (1”= 10 miles) scale. Tipped in leaflet of Van Voorst’s publications to March, 1850. Cover worn and faded. End papers split on hinge folds, but hinges remain sound. Text age-toned, page edges soiled, occasional slight foxing. The very attractive map itself is age-toned but clean and in very good condition. The book is in good condition.
