Scale 1:890,000 (1 inch = 14 miles) colour printed lithograph 130 x 111cm, dissected and mounted on linen folding to 18.5 x 12.5cm between red card covers and contained in a red cloth-covered slip case with gilt lettering and design on front of case. Inset in upper left includes Orkney and Shetland Isles. Adjacent France is coloured, however, the Scilly Isles are not. Five horizontal sections and abundant fossil diagrams occupy sea areas. Colours bright. Slightly soiled and some panel edges are age-toned. Linen fabric is sound the slip case is soiled and worn but intact.

Map in good to very good condition. Slip case in fair to good condition. Uncommon.
