Duddon, N of Broughton-in-Furness, to the Ulverston Sands, near Plumpton Wells Lancs. 3. From near Bootle, over Black Combe to Hodbarrow Point, Cumberland: thence across the Duddon Sands to Titeup Hall, W of Lindale, Lancs. Geological Survey of GB. 1st edition. Located on Old Series one-inch maps 96nw & sw.  Hand-coloured engraving, 69.5 x 102.5cm, 1:10,560 scale (6”= 1mile). Flat, age-toned, slightly soiled, small tear in left side. In very good condition.

The detailed profiles generally follow the geological dip on the one inch Old Series maps numbered in the upper right hand margin and the  profile locations are shown on these maps which themselves did not include a section.
