Hand-coloured engravings, each 66 x 88cm, dissected, mounted on linen and folded to 17 x 12cm between marbled card covers and fitting into original sleeve 17.5 x 13.25 x 3cm. Sheet 10, I of W, 1856, 1st edition, legend in sea area, pinhole in upper left corner, slight water mark in sea area at left edge, otherwise clean with bright colours. In good to very good condition. Sheet 11, 1858, 1st edition. Hampshire, Winchester, Portsmouth, South Hampton. Clear plate mark. In good to very good condition.
Original brown cloth-covered card sleeve with Stanford’s label. Faded, very worn, but intact. The fabric at the corners of the open end is beginning to tear. In fair to good condition
