Sheet  102ne, Old Series 1". 1883. First edition. Cumberland: Penrith, Kirkoswald. Hand-coloured engraving, 39 x 58cm. In brackets, New Series 25. Topography 1866, geology 1883, railways not dated. Dissected and mounted on linen to fold between marbled card covers. Edges of dissected panels have rubbed and rolled. Trimmed without loss of marginalia. Soiled and age-toned, colours bright but difficult to read through to hachured topography. Red colour has transferred from south to north when folded damp. Stencilled number in upper right corner. In fair condition.
