Ireland sheet 156, Callan, 1” scale. 1879. Base map not dated. Covers Fethard. Hand-coloured engraving, flat, 43 x 58cm. Bright colours, slightly soiled and age-toned. Library stamps in upper and lower left corners and stencilled numbers in upper right and lower left corners. Dark grey of Carboniferous Limestone is dark and difficult to read through. In good to very good condition.
