Ireland sheet 184, Kenmare, 1” scale. 1859. First edition. Covers Muckrose Lake, Macgillycuddy’s Reeks. Base map not dated. Hand-coloured engraving, flat, 45 x 61m, clear plate mark. Bright colours, age-toned with foxed edges. Library stamp in bottom margin and stencilled numbers in upper right and lower left corners. Red colouring for Old Red Sandstone differs from greys of second edition. In good condition.
