Section No. 3 (1860). A continuous section from the Limestone Plateau between Abbeyliex and Maryborough, over Cullenagh Hill, and thence south-eastwards across the Castlecomer Coalfield to the Valley of the Barrow, south of Old Leighlin, and into the low Granite Country east of Bagnalstown.  Illustrates one inch maps 127, 128, 137 & 147. Hand-coloured engraving, flat, 68.5 x 100.5cm, with old centre-fold. Very soiled, linen-tape detached from edges and minor marginal tears with small loss at corners. In poor to fair condition.
