Hand-coloured lithograph, 53 x 69cm, dissected, mounted on linen and folded to 18 x 10.5cm between embossed red cloth-covered card book-style covers with gilt lettering and crest. Topography expressed by hachuring. Base map published 1871. Geological survey date 1871. Colours bright, clean, age-toned slightly soiled, pencil notes in bottom and left margins with faint pencil lines drawn into map area. Slight foxing of backing linen not visible on map. Cover bumped and slightly worn, spine intact. In good. condition.
