Carte Géologique de la France. (1889) Ministère des Travaux Publics, 1^st edition. Paris: Baudry et Cie. 1:1,000.000 scale. Colour printed, 108.5 x 118.5cm, dissected,  mounted on linen and folded to 21.5 x 13cm between yellow card covers with advertisements. Fitting into brown cloth-covered card sleeve, with standard Stanford label. No date on map, but advertisements give Stanford address vacated in 1901. The 1^st edition of this map was 1889 while the second edition was 1905-06. The map is bright, clean and unmarked on clean unworn linen. The yellow covers are ‘soiled’ by contact with the card interior of the sleeve. The sleeve is only slightly worn, although very faded and is in good condition. The map is in very good to fine condition.
