Hardback, blue cloth-covered boards with gilt and green lettering to spine and cover. Slightly bumped and soiled. Bookplate of owner on front endpaper. Occasional pencil underling, otherwise, text clean. Light card map wallet worn and torn at folds. Maps, all colour printed and folded: 1) Physiography of Southern Ontario, 51.5 x 43cm, 1:1,000,000; 2- 5) 92 x 112cm, 1:250,000 for Eastern, Central, Western and Southwestern areas. The last of these has been cut into two parts; and inset for the Niagara Peninsula was cut along neat-lines in order to match and pin it in its correct geographical position to the rest of the map. Maps are in very good condition, all folding to 23 x 14.5cm. Pinholes in southwestern map parts. Manuscript titles on reverse to identify when folded. First published in 1951 and much revised in this edition.
