Vermischtes zur Geologie [Miscellaneous (volcanic) Geology], 1850. The main map is the high Andean Quito Plateau of Ecuador showing the volcano complexes of Pichincha and Antisana. Quite a pastiche! Engraving with limited areas of hand colouring, 36x46cm. Flat with centre-fold, Slight age browning at edges. Clear plate impression. In very good condition. Also listed in World/ocean maps.
