Algeria.(1904). [Carte Géologique d’] Alger bis. Algiers: Service Géologique d’Algérie. 1:50,000. Flat colour lithograph 56.5 x 78.5 cm on linen-backed paper. Apart from two faint library stamps in lower right corner the map is immaculate. The topography dates from 1884 in Algiers area and 1876 in the Sahel. Bis appears to relate to the map being centred where four sheets met and being composed from parts of them, rather than the more usual meaning of a second version. In near fine condition.
