Geological Map of Blenheim area, Oxfordshire. Manuscript hand-coloured on OS county 6 inch to the mile base map assembled from four sheets 1884, 99 x 57cm. Dissected and mounted on linen to fold between green cloth-covered boards to 35.5 x 14.5 cm.  The map was prepared by H. Rofe (1839-1915), consulting engineers, to show the geology underlying proposed reservoirs 7 and 8 to supply Oxford that were never built, north of Blenheim Park for the Metropolis Water Supply c.1905. In very good condition. Unique.
